If you have a substantial amount of money to safeguard it may be to your financial benefit to set up an offshore company to protect your assets. Simply put, an offshore company is a company that is incorporated in a country other than the one it does the majority of its business in. Company incorporation, combined with the opportunity to open bank account offshore, is a great solution in the field of asset protection.

There are many legitimate reasons to set up an offshore company but for many companies the main reason is to take advantage of tax laws that are more partisan than those in the US. Setting up an offshore corporation is a great way to keep your taxes low and more of your company profits fluid. Setting up an offshore corporation does not alleviate the need to pay taxes in the country where the income was derived however. The other benefits of incorporating an offshore company are; the ability to trade internationally, financial confidentiality, asset protection, business and land ownership in a foreign country, increased financial flexibility and privacy.

You may also find that offshore companies offer a higher quality of asset protection than setting up your company in the United States. Most offshore destinations will let you form an offshore company in such a way that earnings are fully shielded from all future liability. Business owners can also form an offshore company with a minimum amount of cash equity in the business. Different countries have different rules for this, but overall upfront costs are much cheaper to set up an offshore company in a jurisdiction like Panama as opposed to Switzerland for example. Each offshore destination should be carefully researched and an asset protection lawyer consulted prior to making a jurisdiction selection.

In addition to the benefits, there are some disadvantages to setting up an offshore company that you should be aware of. If a person incorporates an offshore version of their company there is a chance that they won’t be able to have employees on a payroll for that companies American counterpart.

There may also be restrictions on the type of company that a person may form in certain countries. For instance, a person may not be able to open a bank, insurance company, lottery or another entity in a strictly controlled industry. Another drawback of going offshore is the necessity of putting your estate through a protracted probate process if you die suddenly. Even if you have a will, foreign countries will still look over your business dealings with a fine tooth comb before they release your assets to your heirs.

After a time, you may choose to move your company from one location to another. You will need to set up your company in a country that allows movement of corporate entities to other jurisdictions. If you file the proper paperwork utilizing the services of an asset protection lawyer, you will not lose your incorporation charter, no matter how many different jurisdictions you move your offshore company to.

If you want to start an offshore company you need to research the jurisdiction in which you will incorporate and be comfortable with the advantages and disadvantages offered.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - 0201dv–microsoft–yahoo

Unable to topple Google Inc. on its own, Microsoft Corp. is trying to force crippled rival Yahoo Inc. into a shotgun marriage, betting nearly $42 billion that the two companies together will have a better chance of tackling the Internet search leader.

Microsoft’s audacious attempt to buy Yahoo, spelled out in an unsolicited offer announced Friday, shows just how much Google threatens the world’s largest software maker’s grip on how people interact with computers.

For Yahoo, the bid represents another painful reminder of how missed opportunities and mismanagement combined to open the door for Google to supplant it as the Internet’s main gateway, decimating its stock price in the process.

Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft is trying to avoid a similar fate at Google’s hands as more people access services and computer programs online instead of relying on packaged software applications.

Although Microsoft remains the world’s most valuable technology company, its position will become more precarious unless it can cultivate a more loyal Internet audience and generate more online ad revenue to subsidize the free services taken for granted on the Internet.

Microsoft is acutely aware of the upheaval that can be caused by a pivotal shift in technology, having been the biggest beneficiary during the 1980s and 1990s of a transition from mainframe computers to personal computers that knocked IBM Corp. off its pedestal.

‘Microsoft has to do this deal. It’s a battle that Microsoft needs to win,’ said AMR Research analyst Jonathan Yarmis.

But there’s no guarantee that Yahoo will be willing to sell to Microsoft — or that the deal will win the necessary approvals from antitrust regulators in the United States and Europe if Yahoo capitulates.

Sunnyvale-based Yahoo had little to say Friday beyond a terse statement assuring its shareholders that its board will ‘carefully and promptly’ study the bid.

Now he’s down to just one.

I’m surprised everyone is so quick to delete him: I would think it would be exciting to be Facebook friends with someone destined to live in infamy. I’d add him as a friend now, but something tells me he won’t be logging on for awhile.

Meanwhile, numerous “Facebook groups” devoted to the former trader have emerged. My favorite has to be the one called “If 5billion persons join this group & give 1€ we save Jerome Kerviel career.” The group’s founder writes that, “If (and only IF) 4,9 billion persons join this group and IF each one give 1€, we can refund Société Générale and save Jerome Kerviel’s career … But the question is: should we?”

Tip 1. Gamblers go to casino. All unproved, spontaneous actions in Forex trading — are a part of pure gambling.
Any attempt to trade without analysis and studying the market is equal to a game. Game is fun except when you are losing real money…

Tip 2. Never invest money into a real Forex account until you practice on a Forex Demo account!
Allow at least 2 month for demo trading. Consider this: 90% of beginners fail to succeed in the real money market only because of lack of knowledge, practice and discipline. Those remaining 10% of successful traders had been sharpening and shaping their skills on demo accounts for years before entering the real market.
A good demo account to start practicing with could be, for example, FXGame from Oanda.

Tip 3. Go with the trend!
Trend is your friend. Trade with the trend to maximize your chances to succeed. Trading against the trend won’t “kill” a trader, but will definitely require more attention, nerves and sharp skills to rich trading goals.

Tip 4. Always take a look at the time frame bigger than the one you’ve chosen to trade in.
It gives the bigger picture of market price movements and so helps to clearly define the trend. For example, when trading in 15 minute time frame, take a look at 1 hour chart; trading hourly would require obtaining a picture of daily, weekly price movements.

If a trend is hard to spot — choose a bigger time frame. Up and down market patterns are always present. Always make sure you know the dominant trend, unless you are a scalper. Scalpers have no need to spend their time studying big trends, what’s happening in the market here and now (during 5-10 minute time frame) should be of only importance to a Forex scalper.

Tip 5. Never risk more than 2-3% of the total trading account.
One important difference between a successful and an unsuccessful trader is that the first is able to survive under unfavorable conditions on the market, while an unsuccessful trader will blow up his account after 5-10 unprofitable trades in the row.

Trading the Forex markets has become one of the most popular activities among people from all walks in life but with the solid interest of gaining financial freedom away from the traditional environments of the office work.

But Forex trading is not always easy. You will need a good amount of knowledge related to how the currency markets behave in order to become a profitable forex trader. It is the dream of every trader to have a forex trading machine that would help them once the time to make a transcendental decision in the markets comes.

Now a days a veteran trader has been spreading the word about an original and quite revolutionary way to trade the forex markets. It is a system based on what is called Price Driven Forex Trading (PDFT).

He claims that this is at last that elusive Forex Trading Machine that has been dreamed by many traders for many years. PDFT is a system based in three trading strategies that are able to produce consistent and systematic profits for the trader that follows PDFT to the letter.

Many veteran traders agree that in order to be successful in the world of forex trading you must be original, innovative and different in your trading systems. And this is the basis of the Forex Trading Machine based on a different approach to currency trading, this is by the use of PDFT which is a method of trading the forex market without using any type of indicators, support or resistance levels, moving averages, pivots, oscillators, fibonacci, trend lines or any other trading tool you can think of. Price Driven Forex Trading only uses the price of the currency pair and a time element. Quite innovative I would say.

In short, the Forex Trading Machine is what every machine should be; this original trading system is 100% mechanical, this means it requires no discretion or interpretation. You will simply have to follow strict rules: if A = B then do C. That’s it.

people will come and buy your products? One great way to do this is to buy text link ads on other sites to drive traffic. Purchasing text links has a great impact not only from the people that click on the link and visit your site, but also from the benefits you receive in search engine rankings.

Text Links Ads is the best place to find relevant sites to place your advertising. They have a huge database that you can browse by topic to purchase advertising. They are better than the rest because when you purchase an ad, your actual URL appears on the publishers page as opposed to an encrypted link like other publishing systems. This ensures you get the benefit of the link for search engine rankings.

Text Links Ads is running a promotion which gives you $100 in free links. Sign up for an account (It’s free and only takes a couple of minutes) and check out their listings.

If you already have a website, then you may be able to sell links yourself and make some great money on your site!

Google’S $3.1bn (£1.5bn) purchase of online ad business Doubleclick will push up prices for advertisers and hit the income of web publishers, rival operator Yahoo! has told the European Commission.

Concerns are mounting that Google could become as dominant in online display advertising as it is in the £4.5bn European search market, where it controls more than 80 per cent of revenues.

Google will learn at the end of this month whether the commission, which is studying the deal, intends to launch a full three-month inquiry.

In Yahoo!’s first public expression of concern about Doubleclick, Andrew Cecil, public policy head, said: “Combining Google’s search business with Doubleclick’s ad technology will strengthen Google’s dominant position in Europe. The competitive landscape for online advertising will be negatively impacted. The end result will be higher prices for internet publishers and advertisers and less choice for European consumers.”

Yahoo!’s submission to the Commission says that a healthy degree of competition in online display acts as a constraint on Google’s search prices. If search costs too much, advertisers can simply spend more on display.

Owning Doubleclick, however, could give Google the ability to expand its display business much faster than competitors. And internet publishers could be forced to give Google a larger slice of their ad revenues. In the complicated world of online advertising, premium advertising slots on the most popular sites are sold by real people, but most inventory is sold through online auctions.

Advertisers use such auctions, called advertising exchanges or networks, to bid against rivals to place ads on websites. Ad exchanges are growing faster than any other online ad business.

Google has an online auction business, Adsense, which already controls an estimated 25 per cent of the European market. Doubleclick has technology which helps advertisers to manage their campaigns – sending back information on cost and number of people reached.

A Google spokesman said: “We asked the Commission to look at the proposed acquisition. We believe it is good for users and advertisers, and it fosters competition.”

blogger and webmaster loves widgets, and many also quite like money (that’s why
they’re always banging on about it) so what could be better than a widget that
makes money? Until someone finds a way to involve beer in that equation , might
just be the answer.

WidgetBucks features pay-per-click shopping widgets
that help our customers make money fast. They instantly display the most popular
products based on buying trends of 100 million shoppers. Thus they are highly
engaging, which means instant dollars for our customers. Our widgets see $3-$6
CPM — pretty good compared to traditional ad networks that deliver less than $2
CPM.

The idea is simple; you embed the widget code into your blog /
Your site web and it acts as a product feed based on your sites content or a
chosen category, you then get paid for clicks and hopefully make billions…
hopefully.

The widget itself is fully customisable, and actually looks
quite nice, although I wish they’d allow for a slightly smaller size, as it
tends to dominate the page. I signed up so you can see the widget but I refuse
to put this behemoth into my sidebar until they make it smaller.

Gripes aside, I do really like this idea, and the signup
process is quick and easy, so if your blog / Site web has a sidebar with plenty
of space, give it a try, You Will not regret.

Here is screenshot of WidgetBuck member who made over $140
within 1 day!.
